Taking On The Uncomfortable - Vayeira

Imagine working the same job every single day for fifty years. If anyone told you how to do your job, you probably wouldn't listen. Since you've been doing the same thing for so long, changing your method would probably be very uncomfortable.
In this week’s parsha, Hashem told Avrohom to give himself a bris after 99 years of living a comfortable life. Although it was difficult and new, he still put himself through three long days of pain and suffering.
There is a major lesson that we can take from this is that. Although our accomplishments don't match what Avrohom achieved, we can take a small step towards doing something uncomfortable, even if it means doing something different from what we are used to. This will ultimately bring about the coming of moshiach speedily in our days.
