Taking On The Uncomfortable - Vayeira

Imagine working the same job every single day for fifty years. If anyone told you how to do your job, you probably wouldn't listen. Since you've been doing the same thing for so long, changing your method would probably be very uncomfortable.
In this week’s parsha, Hashem told Avrohom to give himself a bris after 99 years of living a comfortable life. Although it was difficult and new, he still put himself through three long days of pain and suffering.
My life and the life of Avrohom are in no way comparable, but the lesson I took from this is that no matter how hard a challenge is, I should be as motivated as him to take a small step toward completing that challenge. Even if it means doing something different from what I am used to.
I hope that we will only see revealed good and that all the challenges will be completed with ease.
Good Shabbos
All the best
