Throughout the years, the Lubavitcher Rebbe would have chassidic gatherings. Many of these gatherings were written and captured on video. In some shuls, they play these videos after shabbos as inspiration for tackling all of the responsibilities throughout the coming week.
On one such occasion, the Rebbe addressed everyone regarding the idea of redemption. In a situation where we can no longer lean on the Rebbe for the support that's needed, what do our responsibilities entail? The Rebbe answered this question by saying, we need to follow what the torah says in order to bring moshiach. For example, if we do one extra mitzvah or one more minute of learning, we can bring about the coming of moshiach immediately!
We can either look at this whole topic and say, we have spent so many years waiting for moshiach, what difference does it make if he doesn't come today? The alternative is we can make a push for it. When we are in golus, Hashem is in exile as well. Therefore, we need redemption immediately. By every man, woman, and child learning torah and doing mitzvot, we will bring Hashem from his exile and into His brand new house in Yerushaliam!
All the best
