The future will be good! - Ki Savo

As some people know, I am a first born child, and it's fun being the oldest in the family.
In this weeks parsha, Parshas Ki Savo, we talk about new fruits and how we get to take the fresh new ripened fruits to Yerushaliam, to the beis hamikdash, where it gets offered to HASHEM. We unfortunately lost the beis hamikdash, and now we are unable to bring "bikurim". However, we do still have the mitzvah of "pidyon haben", redeeming the first born son from a "cohen". Pidyon haben is not exactly the same mitzvah as bikurim. However they both involve the realization that something new is special.
Let's make this world even more special, and make the first real geulah happen for all of us and our loved ones.
Good shabbos
All the best
