When my little brother was taking his first steps every single one was a hard achievement, but with time he got better and can now walk normally. When a toddler starts walking, he is taking steps that will stay with him for the rest of his life. The same is true with the Jewish people and the journey which we are following from Mitzrayim to Eretz Yisrael.
In this weeks parsha we enter the third book of Chumash. We are part of a nation that has had many great things happen like the splitting of the sea, and going out of mitzrayim. We have had easy steps and more challenging ones, but they both will stay with us forever and keep us strong.
I hope that as we continue to become more stable as a nation, Hashem will bring us out of this golus speedily and now!
