Every generation acts differently - Masei
I have taken many trips in my life, but they were trips, not long journeys. I can recall that we went hiking on what we thought was the easiest trail. Ironically, it ended being the longest and hardest one.
This week’s parsha recaps the various journeys taken by the Jewish people, in a dessert, in the middle of nowhere for a long time. Where they had easy journeys than long ones, just like ours.
I am not pointing out that we didn't have a hard time hiking ;What I am saying we had is not nearly as hard of a journey as theirs. We should take advantage of it and do what 20x more on a regular day because we can.
Let's bring Mashiach now.
All the best
