Come and greet the queen! - Vayishlach!

There are many interesting and diverse topics written throughout the entirety of Torah including Chumash, Halacha, Gemara, and Mishnah. This past week, I was learning an interesting halacha that said, “if you do a small action like donning a white shirt on friday, it's a mitzvah because you are preparing for shabbos”.
This week’s parsha holds one of the most exciting relationships between two brothers. One brother was Yaakov and the other was Eisav. When Yaakov was a young boy, he received brachos from Yitzchak. Eisav felt that he rightfully deserved them and therefore wanted to hunt him down and kill him. In this week's parsha, we see the conclusion of what happened after many years of them being apart. When Yaakov heard that Eisav was coming to greet him with 400 men, he started a long preparation process including sending presents and doing extensive prayer.
We see from this that if you are expecting something big to come then it would be best to adequately prepare for it. The same lesson is true with shabbos. Once a week, we have the opportunity to greet the Shabbos Queen. This week, let’s take one more step in preparation for this holy day thereby uplifting the world and bringing moshiach right now!
Moshiach Now
All the best!
