A Place for Every Piece

This week I sat down with some of my family to do a puzzle. At first, it was hard. We could not find which pieces fit, and it felt like we might never get it. I even thought about stopping. But then I realized that puzzles can teach us important lessons. Every piece of a puzzle is important. If one piece is missing, the whole picture is not complete. It is the same with Klal Yisroel. Every Jew is needed. A Mishnah in Pirkei Avos teaches that there is no person who does not have their time and no thing that does not have its place. We each have a place where we belong. Sometimes we try to fit in and it almost works, but not quite. But there is always a place for us, and Hashem knows where that is. And when all the pieces come together, we make the full picture. A Gemara in Sanhedrin teaches that when the Jewish people return to Hashem together, Moshiach will come. When you see someone trying to fit in, remember that they are part of the puzzle too. Be patient and welcoming. Hashem made a place for every Jew, even if we do not see it right away. The picture of Klal Yisroel will only be whole when every piece is in its place. Good Shabbos
All the best Sima Ross
