Recently, I have been struggling with my college experience. Sometimes, I find myself wishing for a magic button that could instantly grant me the degrees I want without the hours of studying or the challenges that come with it.
After reading this week's parsha, I realized that the journey of the Jewish people from Mitzrayim took a long detour with many challenges. This made me wonder why they couldn't have reached their destination faster and easier. The same goes for our lives. Every day presents us with unique challenges that we may see as detours from our intended goals. However, just like the journey from Mitzrayim to Eretz Yisrael, these detours are filled with experiences that shape who we are.
Life and school are hard, but the unexpected twists make me navigate challenges and learn lessons. Rather than viewing challenges as interruptions, let's embrace them as necessary steps for personal growth and success. Instead of wishing for a button to skip challenges, let's navigate the unexpected twists with resilience, embracing the detours and making the journey worthwhile. Hopefully, this change in perspective can contribute to our overall journey, goals, and transformation of ourselves and the world.
Good Shabbos
All the best
