Sanctifying holiness - Vayakhel-Pekudei

Half a year ago I left middle school and this week I was thinking back to a talk that Rabbi Hertzberg Shlita gave about how shabbos should be respected by doing things that a person should do on shabbos. The Rabbi gave an example that stuck with me because he said that he saw many people change into weekday clothing on a shabbos afternoon to play sports.

In this weeks parsha  we read how moshe teaches the Bnie yisroel about shabbos.  Shabbos is the holiest day of the week and its been around since creation of the world.

Let me ask you a question, if you had something for a long time, you would keep it in a box and let no one touch it?

The same is true with shabbos, so therefore let's make shabbos something into something that is important to us. With this idea, we can make shabbos into something even holier and bring Moshiach now.

Good Shabbos

Mashiach now

All the best
